چکیده

In this study, titanium dioxide (TiO2) nanoparticles incorporated with cement were synthesis by a simple casting method as function concentration of TiO2 (0.2, 0.4, 0.8, 1, and 2 wt%). The prepared samples characterized using the technique Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope (FESEM) UV-Visible spectrophotometer, which was used to measure adsorption spectra. observed photocatalytic efficiency (NP) investigated decomposing dye methyl blue (MB) solution under sunlight irradiation. Kinetics of photocatalytic degradation of methylene blue on nanostructured TiO2 coatings created by sol-gel process

Sol-gel process was chosen to produce a photocatalytic film to degrade methylene blue. In order to study structural and morphological properties of the coatings, a base sol of TTIP, I-PrOH, and DEA was prepared. Then with addition of 45g/L PEG 2000, 30g/L TiO2 and 15g/L PEG 2000 + 30g/L TiO2, to the base sol, three other sols were produced. The results of this study indica...

Photocatalytic degradation of methylene blue by 2 wt.% Fe doped TiO2 nanopowder under visible light irradiation

In this paper, 2wt.% Fe doped TiO2 nanopowder was prepared by a combination of sol-gel and mechanical alloying methods. The mechanical alloying of Fe powder with Ti(OH)4 gel produced from the sol-gel method was used to produce Fe doped TiO2 nanopowder. The synthesized samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) and diffuse reflectan...

Investigation of photocatalytic degradation of phenol by Fe(III)-doped TiO2 and TiO2 nanoparticles

In this study Fe (III)-doped TiO2 nanoparticles were synthesized by sol-gel method at two atomic ratio of Fe/Ti, 0.006 and 0.034 percent. Then the photoactivity of them was investigated on degradation of phenol under UV (<380 nm) irradiation and visible light (>380 nm). Results showed that at appropriate atomic ratio of Fe to Ti (% 0.034) photoactivity of Fe(III)-doped TiO2 nanoparticles increa...
